We are seeking a seasoned outside industrial sales and business development professional with senior level experience who will join our team and support Rahco both nationally with a regional territory focus (i.e. Southeast, Southwest, Midwest, etc.) based on their current location.

The Sales & Development Professional works as key part of our team, leadership and business development process. This role is a highly visible position within the company’s senior leadership, critical to our growth as a world-class supplier and value-added partner to customers. The expectation is…

  • To effectively grow known target accounts and develop new business opportunities.
  • To maintain and enhance knowledge of and commitment to commercial prospecting, qualifying and the value-added selling molded plastic/rubber components.
  • To demonstrate excellent salesmanship, good decision making and effective presentation skills.
  • To develop and maintain active sales pipeline of target rich companies with identified key contacts.
  • To nurture key relationships and systemic growth within a customer’s organization.
  • To promote Rahco Rubber as a brand ambassador driving new market presence.
  • To participate in and lead the preparation and submission of quotation and proposals.
  • To contribute effectively to collaborative dialogue/meetings.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 8 to 10+ years of industrial sales and development experience
  • Hunter mentality, capable of seeking out potential OEM & Tier’d manufacturing targets, engaging and pursuing molded (3-dimensional) rubber parts used in high volume.
  • Must maintain a sense of ownership and personable responsibility towards shared company’s objectives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate Rahco Rubber’s core competencies, delivered value, commitment to quality and individualized solutions approach.
  • Experience with customers in targeted new markets.
  • Capable of planning, coordinating and organizing work; ability to self-direct multiple projects, support deadlines and report on executed sales efforts.
  • Proficient with standard business resources (MS Office, etc.)
  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
  • Position is Semi-Remote, overseeing national but highly focused on a regional territory (i.e. Southeast, Southwest, Midwest, etc. based on current location with willingness to travel).
  • Ability to travel, up to- / approx. 50%
